In 2005, NGRC formed the Business Alliance for Reliable Energy for Goldman Sachs and several energy companies to shape federal energy legislation.

In 2006, NGRC was retained to organize 20,000 independent pharmacies into the Association of Community Pharmacists, a grassroots organization that forced legislative changes in the Medicare program.
NGRC was also retained by leading cold & allergy medicine providers to form a national coalition with state and federal law enforcement officers. The coalition developed policies to stop illegal diversion of their products into methamphetamine.




In 2007, NGRC formed the Consumer Aftermarket Coalition for dozens of consumer products companies to address a critical anti-trust case before the US Supreme Court, and to develop grassroots strategies aimed at federal anti-trust legislation.
NGRC coalitions have been credited with enactment of critical legislation over more than 20 years, including to improve U.S. steel competitiveness, require use of child safety restraints in vehicles, develop the law enforcement officers national memorial, and change numerous state and federal laws.
